The 2008 Australasian Philosophy of Religion Conference

Just a quick posting for those few of you who haven’t received notification of the event listed in the title.

The 2008 Australasian Philosophy of Religion Conference will be held on the 27th and 28th of September, 2008 at St Mark’s National Theological Centre, 15 Blackall St, Barton, Canberra, ACT, 2600

The Keynote speakers are Peter Forrest & Max Charlesworth

Other Speakers are Derek Allan, David Ardagh, Sarah Bachelard, Angus Brook, Paolo Bubbio, Peter Chang, Daniel Cohen, Steve Clarke, Michael Falgoust, Andrew Gleeson, Peter Grundy, Stig Hansen, Carl Hooper, Alexander Jensen, Chris Kavelin, Andrew Lang, Morgan Luck, Graeme McLean, Graham Oppy, Philip Quadrio, Greg Restall, Matthew Sharpe, Robert Simpson, Heling Shi, Robert Simpson, Athithan Vanneya, Graham Wood, and Ray Younis.

There is a program available here (.DOC format) that also includes the abstracts.  Macquarie has two speakers represented, Phil Quadrio, who I had as an instructor when I took PHI320: Philosophy of Justice, and Chris Kavelin.

This looks to be a very interesting event for those who are into Philosophy of Religion (and those into toothaches).
