Incoming Links Gone

I’ve had to remove the Incoming Links widget from our sidebar as it was no longer functioning how it should.  The reason: our content is getting mirrored.  That’s right, what we write here is being posted on others’s websites as if they wrote it themselves.  At least some of it links back here but that’s not really the point.

Whoever is behind Literature Online (a blogspot powered site with a very poor header) seems to be pulling our RSS content and publishing it as main content.  Some of this stuff is relevant only here such as this post about my Macquarie only JSTOR browser plugin.

This post now is also only relevant here so it’ll be interesting to see if it ends up over at Literature Online.

If you’re reading this anywhere other than a feed reader and there’s no MQPhil: Undergraduate Philosophy @ Macquarie logo at the top then you’re reading it from a site that is mirroring our content.  Our URL is

    I wonder how many places mirror our content? I just found another site, that’s doing it too. This exact post is mirrored there after only a minute or so of posting, and interestingly, Paul’s introduction is there too.
