Open Courseware

Waz put me onto Open Courseware a few weeks back, though I didn’t know it was this big. I recently saw an add on Fox talking about the latest open learning craze.  Here are some links to some Open Courseware institutes:

MIT

Stanford

Notre Dame

Utah State University

Tufts University

University of California, Irvine

University of Japan

Kyoto University

Tokyo Tech

Osaka University

Waseda University

Kyushu University

University of South Queensland

Paris Tech

John Hopkins School of Public Health

There are no doubt more on the net; alternately, you can try these:

Open Courseware Consortium

Open Courseware Finder (U.S only [I think])

Top 100 Open Courseware Projects

Japan Open Courseware Consortium

The MIT Philosophy options are pretty extensive! I’m certain I’ll be using this resource over the coming years.

To be honest, I wasn’t particularly joyed with the MIT stuff. It material is too focused on the “Analytical tradition”
